About: Thomas his strengths lay in getting things done, connecting easily with people and bringing positivity in difficult situations. Besides his work he enjoys cooking, cycling and scuba diving in his free time.

Max Mylanus
Role: Project Support
Education: Bsc. Civil Engineering, TU Delft.
About: Max is a determined, communicative team player who uses technology and collaboration to successfully drive initiatives. He came to CoWaves in 2021 and is experienced in project planning and execution, budget allocation and management. Max is also one of our best cooks because that’s what he loves to do in his free time!
Alexz Schasfoort
Role: Project Support Assistant
Education: Bsc. Maritime Engineering, TU Delft
About: Alexz is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and completed his minor in Finance. He excels at solving complex problems, remaining flexible and communication. When he’s not working, he likes to stay active and you can find him playing soccer, hiking, camping and skiing. He loves to read and learn why things works the way they do.
Britt Staal
Role: Office Manager
Education: Studying to become a nurse, Leiden.
About: Britt is eager to learn, organized and positive. She provides us all with coffee and kindness. Besides work, she loves to play hockey. She spends her time with friends and likes to visit festivals now and then.
Timo Rodermond
Role: Project Support Assistant
Education: Msc. Maritime Engineering, TU Delft.
About: Timo is an eager problem-solver who acts best in a project team. He has a social mindset and an active attitude, resulting in to-the-point action. Beside school and work, he loves to sail, windsurf, hike and go snowboarding.
Lars van Geffen
Role: Project Support Assistant
Education: Msc. Marine Engineering, TU Delft.
About: Lars is quite good at time management and problem solving. He’s also an active listener which all comes in handy when working at CoWaves. Besides work, Lars is quite a sport fanatic. In his spare time, he likes to play sports, preferably football or field hockey. Next to that he’s a big fan of sports events, from basketball to ice skating, he’s a happy viewer!
Renee Northern
Role: Operations Manager at CoWaves Americas
Education: Finance.
About: Renee is responsible for all operations related to the US office, that includes everything from project support to business development. She is a strong people manager, effective coach and thoughtful planner. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, kayaking, fishing, picnicking, etc. She also loves long thoughtful debates and deep theological discussions.

Our skilled team possesses many years of management experience, with backgrounds in technology, business and technical knowledge, and data collection and management. We offer our clients everything from large-scale implementation to daily operations. We are big picture people with an eye for fine details and the necessary humility to work alongside the team helping to solve small picture problems.
We utilize the critical path method to first evaluate and identify potential pinch points or trouble areas. We connect with the project team for alignment, structuring information, setting priorities, and building a plan for success. Communicating effectively across the project team is one of our greatest strengths. Finding the flow, both on a technical and human level, is central to our success.
